Just switched to this plan after being on the 4GB/$50 plan. Plan is basically identical other than the price difference.
Surprisingly, there is almost no wait time right now.

Thanks for the link. Does that mean data overage charges are not consented by default? The way I understand it is that: 1) data is paused when data cap is reached, and account holder is notified by text message with details on how to consent to additional data charges and restore data (possibly on the spot); or 2) pre-consent to data overage charges above $50/$100 for current bill cycle (and re-do for each bill cycle).

Same here. I called back and asked for the plan directly. They wanted to know where I heard of the plan and i said a friend of mine got it yesterday. They finally gave it to me. Try calling again.

I was offered a 4 GB plan for the bargain basement price of $73.50 as they were trying to push a shared plan. This was on a business plan. I didn't go through retentions but if the plan is still available today I may give it a try.

Time to switch and give them the finger!
They understand that some folks are so averse to change such that even if these folks are getting ripped off they will still remain customers because its too uncomfortable for them to experience change.
Don't let them prey on you!

Unadvertised plans... so strange. Just a few weeks ago there was a thread about Zoomer with a similar unadvertised plan (not the details of the plan, just the fact that it's unadvertised). If it's unadvertised, who do they expect to know about it? Only seems to show up on sites like RFD, which is probably a small minority out of the overall pool of subscribers, but it creates a ton of headaches for people trying to get it (usually a lot of YMMV as this thread indicates) and headaches for the CSR too as they often don't know about it (or pretend not to know)/give conflicting info etc.

Even worse is it's very likely that some people finally getting this plan will notice a "mistake" on their bill in a few months and have to call in again to get it fixed. Then there's the likely fact that they'll raise the plan price within the year... grrr...
