You also get 2gb of bonus data and first 3 months of the data access plan free. I believe it might be in store only.

YMMV with the $35 activation fee.

This is the LTE version of the watch that retails at Apple for $499/$539.

I’d say it’s pretty hot considering the non LTE is going for $299 for 38mm non cellular.

Sorry was thinking about the ones at Sportchek. LTE = esim.
Seems like a hot deal if you can stack it with the $80.50/10gb epp plan

This is hot, the not hot part is that you have to be on Rogers to share one number.

Crazy what some of you people pay for your cell plans.

Looks like this is still available. This is very hot for current Rogers subs. Not sure if it’s enough for non-Rogers people to come over for the “good treatment”.

I watched these like a hawk before Xmas and aside from the sports chek gift card plus second trip for triangle points, this is by far the best I’ve seen and doesn’t involve multiple trips to multiple stores and relying on sportschek stock levels.

Good post op.

That's called device subsidy.

I ended up picking up the Series 3 LTE. At $14/month (for 24 months) works out to $336 for the 38mm version. Not too bad, although I probably do not really need the cellular version but it might be handy occasionally for a phone-less run and swimming.

Rogers gave me a 2GB/month of additional data when adding the phone (which costs $10/month). I believe I managed to get them to waive the $35 activation fee, but I'll need to check my bill.

scooped a 42mm for $360 ($15/mo * 24 mos) a couple weeks ago

Sold my open box best buy AW3 Nike edition for basically what I'll wind up paying Rogers.

Reason I did it was because Apple wouldn't let me get AC+ on my open box unit. Now I have a new watch for free and added AC+ without an issue. Big win for me.

Yah, looks like the prices are back up.

It looks like they also had a promotion where Rogers was waiving the $10 monthly service/add-on fee for the watch for the first 3 months. I also received a 2GB data/month add-on bonus. I had the rep note that they'd waive the $35 activation fee but I'm still waiting for that to happen.

So far I'm pretty happy with the watch. I have an older Garmin Vivoactive, and the Apple Watch is a much better daily use watch. The Apple Watch worked well for a pool swim and use with Nike Training Club for a gym workout. But I'll still use the Garmin for longer workouts and cycling (it's always-on display is helpful and it's much more readable in bright sunlight).
