[Rogers Wireless] LAVA HOT! $75/10GB or $80.50/10GB EPP Ultra tab

Retailer:
Rogers Wireless
More offers from Rogers Wireless
Just got an update from my Rogers rep. The best boxing day deal is back.

$115/10gbUltra Tab is back

Stackable with your corporate discounts. 30% off on share everything = $80.50
Some corporate has a port in credits. Vancouver hospital = $200credits.
Must port from another carrier. Not from Chatr or Fido.

Current customer, you can port to any other prepaid plan for 4-7 days before porting back over.
I used to do port out for 2 days and then port back over to Rogers and still get the credits. However, he said Rogers can track it now and it's safer to port out for 30 days.

Just make sure you don’t tell the sales rep because they don’t get the commissions.

Has anyone tried it recently and still managed to get their credits?

Update:

Bank employee = 30-35% OFF + $200 credits
Vancouver Coastal Health = 30% OFF + $200 credits
Big chain fast foods (A&W or Mcdonalds etc) = 30% OFF + $200 credits

Let me pull up pricing in Quebec, and say EPP pricing is nothing special because it can be obtained by any Joe blow on Rogers regular site with similar pricing.

If you dont mind a QC number, you can get those and stack it with your corp discount.

I wouldn't say hot but reasonable. Getting a decent price on an Ultra Tab will give you better purchasing power come renewal time. Unless they come up with 5 additonal plans after the Ultra then you're just screwed.

Maybe you're new here, but Rogers and Hot does not go in one sentence.
And tbh, $115/10gb is a shit deal. Oh and by the way, they'll deny you data protection once u reach the limit, so some day U or a kid will watch a 4k video on your tube and down the drain will go away all your fictional savings.
They have the app. You can manage your own data. View your own data in real time. Block data usage etc. It is your own responsibility to use within the limit.
They do have the $50 overage cap. Stops after reaching $50 overage charges. You have to reply to the text and click several links before they let you use it again.

No other carriers offer data protection except Koodo. Adroids have their own data management in the setting. Iphone can download a 3rd party app for the same feature.

This is hot compared to their regular promo plans. Nothing we can do unless the new PM do something about it.

Theres always a way, I'm in Ontario and know multiple people who've managed to do the same.

Could make a prepaid account from Sask and port your number in?

My contract with Rogers is ending soon and I'm on a regular premium plan with a 30% corp discount. I'm debating if it's worth it to move to the ultra tab. I'll essentially only be paying $8 more but my 10GB will be permanent as opposed to 7+3gb for 24 months, I'll get unlimited minutes and be on an ultra tab plan which will make upgrades easier in the future.
Is it worth it?

Sorry but don’t understand the meaning of top tiers.

This plan market value is $145, but I’ve EPP discount (30%) from UBER
Strange because there’s no UBER in SK, but anyways, who cares? lol

Btw guys, there’s a share Everything Plan 60Gb on a premium tab + for $110. How can anyone have this? lol

Rogers wrongly activate it on my account and then canceled without my consent lol
