It's being waived for everyone.
It has been waived for everyone if you do online, phone channel and store still ask you to pay $25 regardless

Thanks, @rebel_rfd and @DaveZ741! Will the online option let me choose between month-to-month vs 2 year contract? Any advantage to either?
2 year will let you upgrade to a new phone.

Wait till the hype dies then call in to negotiate on a phone.

If not interested, get the $60.

You can HUP, hence why you are paying an extra $25-$45.

Dang I really think Rogers got me by the neck here with this promo.
I have no problem paying out the rest of my iPhone X to switch to this plan, but my girlfriend is on my Share Everything 12GB plan and she's got $350 left.

Calculate to see if it makes a difference to pay it off now or just leave it.
Rogers: $65 10GB | Koodo: $75 16GB | Fido: $0 3GB Tablet Plan

Yes you can you can make them all individual plans. E.g. If you have a main line that is Premium Tab and 2 Additional Lines that are also Premium Tab, you would pay $85 x 3.
Thats totally not worth it. No sense in doing that.
There's a reason my other lines are all cheaper $40 or $50 because my main line is the most expensive

Unfortunately it doesn't. I get 30% off the Share Everything plans so the difference is only $9 a month. Would take too long to re-coup that $350 which will be $0 by next December.

Same boat here. I’d love to leave Rogers, but my EPP discount got me about $400 off the iPhone X, which I’d lose if I switched to another plan or carrier. They’ve got me good.

Not having any luck doing the switch online - keep getting the “Sorry, something went wrong” message. Any idea if this is specific to my account or is the website just overloaded?

From consumersos on Twitter:
Fido and Rogers still not answering phones. Either fast busy or ring, ring, ring. Recent new data plan offers may be the reason. Consumers calling in to sign up. @Rogers @Fidomobile

Correct. If I was paying regular price, I'd jump so quick!

I'm currently on a corporate loyalty plan for $59 with 6GB. I'm considering switching to this plan since for an extra $1 I'd get another 4GB and Roam Like Home, which would be nice. I'm concerned they'll start to periodically up the price every few months, though.

My friend who was on Fido just got on this and he said the Rogers rep he talked to guaranteed that the price wouldn't go up so long as he stays on the plan. Any truth to this? Would there be anything in writing?

Also, if I pull the trigger, how do I go from a corporate plan to a consumer plan, preferably without spending the day on the phone?

Thanks!
