Rolex service in BC?

Looking for decent price service cost for a medium size rolex?
I know service center and AD will charge about $800.

Any that does as well a job locally for cheaper?
It works fine but as with all rolex it gains a few minutes every few weeks.

Are you looking for official service or just third party ones? I do highly suggest doing the official service as it comes with 2 year official warranty, you can get this at Rolex Boutique, Monte Cristo, and Palladio. Brinkhaus used to have an inhouse rolex service but not anymore.

For third party, check out Otto Friedl, he's rated as one of the best. There's also Time&Gold and the German Watchmaker. Usually around $400-600 but keep in mind they may not be using authentic Rolex parts as they don't have a rolex parts account. Otto Friedl is the one to go for third party servicing, he's located in the Fairmont in downtown.
Current Fido/Koodo customer. Great to be a Fido and Koodo Customer.

Anywhere closer to Surrey?
I am also going to Taiwan this year, is the service from AD cheaper there?

I am hoping to spend no more than $300.

I've used Time & Gold before with okay results. I do think they did ding one of my Zeniths during servicing, but the movement worked well after servicing. Usually about $400 for full servicing, and they're the only watchmaker in vancouver that is open on Saturdays (I work Monday to Friday)

You're going to travel abroad to service a watch? It takes weeks if not month for a service. Are you going abroad for that long?

Servicing a Rolex for $300? Are you smoking crack and/or living in the 1960s? It will cost more than that for a regular mechanical watch...

Sorry, last time we got it serviced 10 years ago in HK it cost about $300 CAD.
It was a AD in HK where we bought the watch.

I'm thinking a Rolex service, even the most basic of movements, will start at $600. My GMT Master II service cost me almost a grand last year.

Taiwan is probably cheaper but then it depends if you have enough time staying in Taiwan. Servicing can take a while depending on what's needed.

And what if you needed to warranty it after a service? Send it back to Taiwan?

I am going for a month this year.
And Mebiuspower, no offence, but we already get your point.

I am from Taiwan and go almost yearly for at least 2 weeks a year.
And as i understand it, as long as i get it done by a AD or Rolex service on any country, it is covered world wide.

If done at the rolex service center or AD, Rolex two year warranty is worldwide.
