[Rona] RONA - Clearance Section - YMMV

So Rona seems to have a decent YMMV clearance going on, depending on your location.

I'm sure you've seen some of the posts lately with the individual items.

My closest location in Bradford has zero clearance items. But, locations like Home & Garden RONA Scarborough Golden Mile have 98 pages of clearance items...

So go online https://www.rona.ca/en/promotions/clearance
Change location to your local Rona, and see if there are any deals for you.
If not, maybe try a close location. Or be like me, and consider driving down to Toronto just to pick up some power tools on sale...

EDIT: YMMV, not YMMY

This is ALL from their website right now. I've not been to any stores yet to confirm anything.

But based on the website, locations with good deals so far (GTA):
Home & Garden RONA / Brampton
Home & Garden RONA Scarborough Golden Mile
RONA Hamilton (Rymal Road)
RONA Grimsby
Home & Garden RONA / Waterdown
...I might try updating this later. There may be some tiers for their clearance pricing.

Example:
20V MAX Lithium Ion Drill/Driver and Impact Combo Kit (https://www.rona.ca/en/20v-max-lithium- ... reId=10151)
Regular: 149.00
Rona Hamilton (Parkdale) $37.25
RONA Grimsby $37.25
RONA Burlington $89.40
RONA Schomberg $89.40
Bradford Rona $149 :( Probably because they are just affiliated. Not one of their big box stores. (edit)

In my experience Amazon usually doesn't have the best prices, but people love the free shipping.

99% would have double checked it with Home Depot first before ordering. So, maybe it's dropped in teh past half year. It was on a "Deal day" too, hence why it wasn't this $122 that MMMM showed. Oh well. Can't win them all.

You have to be quick. Items still count as in stock until they're actually out the door. So if someone ordered 10 widgits, it'll still say 10 in stock. Also, why the hell is someone ordering widgits from Rona.

Amazing price. I bought the same saw used, earlier this year for $250 and have only used it for two cuts. At least all the stores around me are sold out.
-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-HomeDepot clearance prices are not shown on stocktrack or HD.ca
-There is a difference between NEED (necessities) and WANT (desires). The word NEED is over-used on RFD and in general.

Definitely very YMMV but some very good deals can be found. Worth visiting to actually see what's available in-store (ie don't trust the online stock). Many stores have clearance displays set up that also have stuff that isn't listed as clearance online. I've found the shelf sticker price often isn't updated to reflect the online clearance price but scans correctly.

Picked up these:
Foremost sink - $30
Pfister Vega faucet - $52.75
Ladder bookshelf - $19.44
FatMAX Hammer - $11
storage bin - $6.75
