[Rona] Deluxe Cargo Carrier - 58" - Black (Yahu YH-TR002) !HOT! $49.99

The sale price will only appear in the cart. You need to make an online order at a store which has stock. Parcel shipping not available for this. I've never seen one of these go so low in price. It doesn't swivel and requires assembly (it's in 2 pieces).
This deluxe luggage rack will give you extra space when you travel. Heavy duty tubular steel construction. Powder-coated finish prevents rust and corrosion. Load capacity: 500 lb(226.8 kg). Fits all standard class III/IV 2" receivers. Strong hitch lock pin.
Check your vehicule for your specific tongue weight limit. My 2002 Nissan Pathfinder is rated à 500lbs for a Class III hitch.

Wow!
This is hot (IMO).

I need to stop by the garage to see if they can remove my ceased as it is stuck right now (rusted)...
I might try to remove it tonight with an air chisel and penetrating oil ...

Thanks OP! Don't forget ebates for your 2% too! I am planning on taking my bike from Winnipeg to Saskatoon in a couple of weeks and I don't trust my truck mounted carrier for that distance....do you think I could use it to carry a bike?

Penetrating oil and a few hits with a rubber mallet might do the trick.

I would suggest getting an Anti-Rattle adapter, I just ordered this one from PrincessAuto which is 18.99$ (regular price, but I can't find any other at under 35$).

yeah...
I already tries a few months ago with penetrating oil and a regular hammer ...
Then I even tried "gently" with a mass without any success.

So I doubt that a rubber mallet will work.

So last try might with an air chisel...
And if no success... might do a stop at the garage.

Just FYI that you’ll probably need a riser for most of vehicles as well. Tons of complaints for racks of similar construction that exhaust heat melts stuff while on long road trips.

+1

FYI for those who normally don't use anything more than a bike rack, you have to use the tongue weight of your weakest component, which is your car, even if the hitch and this cargo carrier is rated for more. For many 4 cylinder SUVs and almost all sedans, tongue weight is only 200 lbs. Say this cargo carrier is at least 50 lbs, so that leaves you about 150 lbs of cargo to haul. Just keep that in mind in case you were planning to fill it up with 500 lbs of cinderblocks ...
