RONA - Hunter Electronic Programmable Thermostat - $2.99/$6.99

Went to my local Rona in Waterdown. They had a ton of electronic Programmable thermostats on clearance for $2.99 for the 5 + 2 day programmable and $6.99 for the 5 + 1 + 1 programmable. Made by Hunter.

Seems like a great price. Ended up buying a $2.99 one for myself.

Wow, please refrain from linking to the Rona website. I just threw up and my computer exploded from the sheer abomination of it all.

I'm not surprised they are clearing these things out, I'd expect all electronic thermostats to be internet addressable within two years.

Probably unlikely given that they still sell non-electronic ones like this: http://www.rona.ca/en/manual-thermostat. Who would have thought you could still buy these in 2013!

Aww, that round thermostat is so cute.

There will basically be two classes; simple, very cheap manual thermostats, and "online" electronic ones.

Those are usually used in rooms/hallways that always stay the same temperature

These thermostats are for central heating/air conditioning units only, not baseboard or individual room use.
