[Rona] Sterling 4 burner w/side burner Propane Gas Barbecue - 50,000 BTU - 644 sq. in. $299

This is a really good price but not sure how it compares to the other brand Broilmate owned by the same parent company. Does anyone know how the two compare? And no don't say webber, broil king, napoleon as those are not in my budget.

Is that Ontario only?

I see save 15%, but it says on regular price only?

Can anyone confirm no-tax applies to this item? I am not seeing it and it appears only those at 'regular' prices are eligible :(

This is probably the best bbq you can get for $300, use the cast grills for a couple years then upgrade to stainless steel grills and flame directors. No reason you shouldn't get 15 years out of it!

While I am a huge advocate for buying quality bbqs and avoiding the cheap junk.

If I had to buy a bbq on a budget, it would be a Sterling. Build quality is pretty good. As said above the cooking grates will be the first to go, and at that point replace with sst.

Would anyone say this is too big for me? Just me and my gf
Sometimes we have a maximum of 4 people come by. Max budget was 400 tax in so this fits!

If you have the room for it, why not. You don't have to have all burners on every cook. However, that day you have a group of friends over for a bbq you will appreciate the Extra grill space.

Cheap made in China BBQ. Spend the extra $40 and get the Sterling. Warranty is 3-year warranty on the cookbox, by a 3-year warranty on the burners, and by a 1-year warranty on parts compared to the Sterling with 10-year limited warranty on the cookbox, a 5-year warranty on the burners, and a 2-year warranty on parts and paint.
