Round trip airfare to Tokyo for $599*!!
Just passed by Flightcentre store and saw their ad on the front window:
Roundtrip airfare from Toronto, ON to Tokyo, JPN on board United Airlines.
Departs: Apr. 11, 2007
Returns: Apr. 18, 2007
*Taxes are additionally $176.00

Thought that was a crazy deal for an asian flight, AFAIK, most asian destinations are in the $1k range...

Not too bad. For under $800.
The time i went to japan on a cheap airline ticket was with UA as well. It was $600 taxes in. Mind you, that was the yaer of the sars breakout and all the airlines where losing money as no one wanted to goto asia so they were discounting tickets.
It was in may...greatest cheap trip ever. Two weeks, went to korea and japan Funny how when people ask where i was from and when i said Toronto, they were a bit nervous as it was the 2nd worst breakout outside of asia._______________

pretty good price if the date fits your need.
in the process of finding a decent price to tokyo myself. best price ive gotten so far is $880 taxes and fees included for a return ticket from toronto.
i want to avoid travelling through the states but air canadas tickets are super pricey

1998 Oct I got a web special from Canadian Airline for $300.00 tax in....yesyes, I know they are gone.... I still saved my ticket to look at it once in a while...

I wish the departure date is the end of April, that's when my exams finish!
Does anyone know any good deals (<$1000) from Toronto to HK or Japan? I did some comparison shopping and most are >$1000..._______________
