Router
This is more of a question but it is also a request a deal I guess.
I just bought a new computer but we're keeping the old one around as well. We want internet on both so I've been told I need a router.
My set up is pretty simple. I have the computer with the cable internet in one room, and then the other computer is about 20 feet or so down the hall around the corner on the same floor.
Do I need something wireless? And what does "wired" mean anyway? Do I have to physically connect the two computers with some long cord?
What do I need and what's the cheapest I can get it for?
Any answers and I will be eternally grateful.

Yo man, get a router cause it's simple. It'll assign seperate IPs so each computer runs online uninterrupted. Wireless means you need a wireless NIC on each machine. Wired means you have to connect a Cat5e - - all PCs have a NIC built-in so your good to go. Ya Hoo!
I got a Linksys & cables if you want it or wait for Futureshop to discount one with MIR.
