Royal Canadian Mint: *New* $20 for 20 Silver Coin "Farewell to the Penny"

So far all the other $20 for $20 coins have sold out, but don't know if this is a Hot Deal since the last discussion regarding if financial institutions are accepting them in exchange as some opinions may differ.

It's not on their website, but my credit card has been charged and coins have been shipped since I had a subscription. I called in and asked if you can order these coins without a subscription, (for those who wish to purchase them) and you can "pre-order" them with an official release date on the last week of August. It's the last for this series, in which this subscription ends and another series begins in the end of August.

Had the precharge and figured it was for the 20's, but where did you find the name of the coin? By calling in?

Yes, I originally asked them what the charge was for and the RCM mentioned it's called the $20 for $20 Farewell to the Penny...and I said OK...Thanks. She couldn't really describe the artwork to me...

just called, and ordered it... but they charge $3, plus taxes for shipping... they said, when they run the promo later this month - there will be free shipping.

Just got off the phone and they told me my order was shipped Aug. 7th. I wasn't charged shipping. My credit card shows the charge so it looks like they did ship. Was charged pst on the order by mistake and it is being refunded.

I read this thread, then went to my mailbox to check for mail.
And the "Farewell to the Penny" coins were delivered. The design is the same as on the penny, but the leafs look like there are on water floating away.

Just sign up direct at RCM's site, though I'm pretty sure they've 'sold out' of their subs for he $20 for $20... Which to me is the weirdest thing ever...

I hope they refund for everybody, as I noticed the overcharge as well.
