Super hot deals at RunningFree - sale plus 25% plus $25 coupon

Deal Link:
Expiry:
January 6, 2019
Retailer:
Runningfree.com
Examples:

Saucony Peregrine 7 Ice+. This is an excellent neutral winter shoe with a waterproof upper and an extremely grippy sole. It's the outgoing model but even at that its MSRP is $190 and this sale has it at $105 and it qualifies for a $25 promo coupon. https://www.runningfree.com/products/On ... /?pstart=1 Limited sizes still available.

Saucony Triumph ISO4. An excellent neutral trainer that usually retails in the $175-ish space. The sale price of $89.99 is extremely hot for this shoe. I don't understand how they can sell at this price and offer a $25 promo coupon. https://www.runningfree.com/products/On ... /?pstart=1

Mizuno Wave Rider 21 GTX. Another excellent neutral trainer that will also keep your feet pretty dry. The $199.99 MSRP is slashed to $104.99 https://www.runningfree.com/products/Mi ... TX-p51177/

I don't know the terms and have never received a future purchase coupon from them before so I can't even guess. I am swimming in shoes and gear right now so I haven't pulled a trigger. Yet.

I got a great deal on boxes of GU gels. I had never heard of this business before. The shoe prices were very good with the extra 25% off.

Last Hunt also has 50%+ off on Salomon's winterized running shoes... When my wife tried them at the store she found the arch very tall.. they used this "ortholite" insole. Is this a new thing, these super supportive high arched insoles?

I have a pair of saucony cohesion 9 running shoes which I love.

I just ordered the Saucony Peregrine 7 Ice+ for winter jogging. I have a German Shepherd and I jog 5km with him a few days per week. Hopefully these will be better in the winter compared to my cohesion 9s.

Thanks OP! Great deal!

edit: anyone know when you get the $25 off code?

Wow, great deals on top quality running gear, nice find! To anyone buying running shoes though, check if the shoe is neutral or stability and know the differences: https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice ... shoes.html
Great tip cjsketchy! I've been trying to find an affordable winter pair (traction, water resistant), without spending $200+. I have the Peregrine 7 Trail (not Ice+), but regularly use the Kayano line (stability). I do find that the longer runs the lower leg become a bit more fatigued, but do find the extra traction helpful on snow. I still need to shorten my stride over ice, so I'm curious about the Ice+ model. My general sense is that the majority of trail runners are neutral, to assist ankle/foot mobility to the variable surface that comes with the trails? I don't seem to find many stability options?

Slightly off topic, but any rec's on GTA/tricity running forums, on gear, routes, races, etc?

Bandwagon - you might want to consider seeing a podiatrist or a sports medicine clinic to get a custom orthotic that you could slip inside a neutral shoe. That could dramatically expand your choices. I am a supinator so wear neutral shoes and I swear by the Peregrine 7 Ice+ and the Razor - these have turned outdoor running in Ottawa into a 12 month sport for me. Sadly, they do not make stability versions.
