Ryerson Continuing Ed to 2nd Yr ITM
Well I'm coming from Rye CE to 2nd yr ITM. Took all the first yr ITM courses in continuing ed and my ending cgpa is 3.667. My grades are pretty good but my cgpa doesn't transfer over when you switch to undergraduate ... only show up as credits.
I was wondering if it was possible to apply for any scholarships or bursaries based on my continuing ed grades for this year? Or are other any scholarships that I am automatically considered under Ted Rogers School of Management?

How many courses did you take to get into the itm program? Did you get into the part time or full time program?
As for the bursaries, i know that CE gives them out but for the business programs, I'm not too sure about!

I took the 8 core courses for first yr ITM
MKT100
ACC100
ITM100
CMN124
QMS204
ITM200
MGT200
MHR405
and the two table A liberals
I know there scholarships if you get a certain gpa in first yr undergraduate and receive in 2nd year but i was in CE so not sure if I still qualify

Just wanted to know, what was your requirement in the amount courses you needed to take in order to apply. Cause I applied to the business management program. I'm gonna finish up my 7th CE business class, and already applied and will hear a answer soon after my grade is put into the system. Also, do you know if there is a lot of competition and you think a gpa of 3.0 is enough to get in? Did they also look at your high school marks, and if so was yours high?
CE courses have their own bursaries but since you have finished them you won't quality. Your best bet is to apply for school bursary and student grants!

Not sure if this is going to help you but I've been taking CE business classes for about three years now, I've taken a total of 15 classes. I applied for Full time business management program and got in. I don't think they take a look at your high school marks I think they just mainly look at the CE classes you took. My average was about 3.0 and I got in fine

Well, I took some 1st year and 2nd year classes, but when I applied they wanted my high school transcript but my marks weren't that great, I had a 69%.
Currently with the CE classes, my gpa is 2.89 but after my 7th course is finished I'm pretty sure I will have above 3.0. When did you get into the program, because they told me I can only apply to the part time program only? Thanks for your help!

I started talking CE students since Fall 2007 and have taken a total of 10 (basically all the first yr ITM courses). With those marks they wanted my high school transcript as well and my average in high school was alright like around 74% average. I applied in January and got in April. I guess your right, I have to apply for student grants for September.
Thanks for your help
and good luck in your application process.

Well I guess my situation is a little different from yours. So here's my story... I applied to Ryerson back in high school but I had such a bad average I didn't get in... so I applied to Seneca College and I got in and graduated from a program similar to the IT program at Ryerson.... After graduating from Seneca I applied to Ryerson for some certificate, I had to send them my Seneca transcript and then I got in. When i got in they provided me with a student number. At the last minute I decided not to go anymore.
A couple of years after I applied for Business Management Marketing Part Time and I got in... they already had my Seneca transcript from the last time I applied and still had the same student number, so I got in pretty easily.
I applied for Full time back in February I think and I didn't need to provide them with any transcript because they already had my marks from both Seneca and from when I did Business Management part time. I got my accpectance letter by April
