From what I've read and on RMP, Scott Anderson is a great professor. I don't see Keith MacInnes teaching the course though.. I have it with Emre Konokoglu and waiting for my class which is Friday mornings. Originally Posted by strawberry8

Jan 10th, 2012 09:14 PM #15005My friend just had him for FIN300 on Tuesday. I have him for FIN401 on Wednesday. From what he told me ... he talks like hes drunk (lol???) but really funny in a way. He told me at first he had a boring monotone voice but as he got further into the lecture his personality suddenly changed into a funny one. Question for all you accounting majors or people who know what they're talking about: Is there a reason to get the accounting major if you don't make it to one of the three designations/big 4 companies?

Having a designation shows you that you have the skills, knowledge, and proficiency of a competent accountant. It allows you to practice public accounting services. Without a designation you will probably end up with a low end job such as a bookkeeper, accountant assistant, or even working at McDonalds. Originally Posted by dankup

I really liked Keith McI. for 401, I would stick with it.
