hey every1. I am looking for some info.
I'm looking to switch from Uwaterloo Arts coop program to Ryerson arts. I had a 70% first semester and an 80% second year. I am looking to switch so I can get a 90% in third and 4th year.
Who should I contact to discuss transferring & what are the chances I will be accepted? Also, can I apply for bursaries or scholarships with my average? Another thing I hate is that according to Uwaterloo I don't qualify for any sort of funding...

I think it's way too late for you to transfer... It's end of August after all... I gave up transferring in the beginning of June because the deadlines were end of May.

It's the end of July. If it was the end of August I would be feeling a little differently :P Thought when we talked about transferring it was still a week before the deadline to apply?

^^^ Yes, I just called and checked...
SOOO many hoops to jump through.
Looks like Ryerson does not want a 3.7 GPA student (from waterloo university) with years of solid professional experience graduating from their school.

Maybe if you tried earlier you would've gotten it... I want to get away from Ryerson. Want to be me for a semester?

Don Mills and Steeles. Drive to Fairview when it's free parking. 50 minutes or so. If I have to take TTC bus, at least 1 hour. Rarely less than that. TTC buses suck.

Amen! Pretty bad, same as me I would say. Bathurst and Steeles over here, 2 buses to Finch station (30 mins) and subway from Finch station to Dundas, 13 stations, 30 minutes. You got a car or something? I drive after school but my dad takes the car @ 6am so I got nothing. He didn't go to work for a week one time so it took me 10 minutes to get to the station from my place. Do you ever stay after class to chill/work out/go to a club that you're registered in (not a night club) or is it straight home like a bauss like me? Ever come early?

Guess not! How is a 75% overall average a 3.7?

Looks more like a 3.2 to me bruh.

Height? She never got out of the booth but I would say short - regular - about 5'6 maybe. Yes I was in first year but I guarantee that if I would go to Ryerson in 2nd year, I would still get away with it. You save a good ~$20 a month by using those tickets. I'll just buy like 50 at a time so I don't need to worry about it again for a few months.
I know there's more that one lady from what I've seen over the year. I'm going to build my courses to end around that 4-6PM range since that's when most people are going in and out of the mall.
But they have a TTC officer now and police officers platooned for Dundas station so there's always the risk of them ticketing you. It's in the TTC bylaw where it says you can't alter fare price or something.

If you pay with a ticket and they ask for your high school ID just say you forgot it.. then they'll ask you to pay an extra dollar to make it an adult fair so just have some change with you. If you do the math you need to get asked for ID a good ~20 times to actually spend the same amount as you would on a metropass, and that's not happening. Getting asked a few times a month is possible however. It's likely you'll go a few months without getting asked for it too.

You guys make me laugh. You seriously sweating the ttc for $20 a month? I guess its worth it if you can pass for 17 and never go anywhere but to school and back again.

Exactly
Hey man, $20 a month adds up to ~$160 for the year! Let's just say if the TTC didn't ask for $3 a ticket or $100 a metropass.. less people would do what we do and more people would buy passes and use them. At the prices the TTC provides its crappy services for I'm surprised people use it as much as they do. The sh*******, most expensive public transit system in probably all of North America.. rant done

I go to school then go home like a failure (not bauss). Missed out on club day and I was never able to find and join a club again... Ya there's the Ryerson clubs like AIESC, SIFE, and stuff, but I meant clubs other than those in Business Management.
