sadly i dont think i am built for smart phones :( should i sell or return?
hi
i have been playing around with the samsung galaxy s2x with my wifi and honestly i find no enjoyment at all in it. everything is way too small and navigating is a pain in the caboose! i dont think it is just the phone but the size in general for me. i tried many sights including this one and sights that offered mobile viewing pages and ones that did not and it still was so frustrating.
Now i know that if i spent more money on a pen type thingie to help navigate it would help but that still wouldnt solve the issue of how the web feels to me.
i purchased the phone so that i could have something to enjoy when waiting for friends at places that had wifi hot spots and such and now i know that wont work. i really dont know how you all manage to do it and koodo's to you all that do.
I'm going to try out some tablets i think to see 7 inches will make the difference or not and either keep my old phone or just buy the refurbed lg breeze or keybo2 for 50 bucks.
Question is should i just return the Samsung S2X or is it worth trying to sell it? i payed 249.99$ + taxes for it from telus and not sure how much it is worth .
thanks for all the help you have given me with this phone so far

If you can return it just return it. Otherwise, sell it.

Just return It, If you do sell It It wouldn't be as much since you used It already.

Try the Opera mini browser first before returning it. It's much easier to use than the stock browser that comes with the phone and as a bonus it only uses one tenth of the data if you get a data plan.

You have turned into me.
Get a Blackberry. YOU WILL BE HAPPY. It does EVERYTHING a phone should do exceptionally well.
But, are you allowed to return it? Did you sign a contract?

no i bought it outright and have 30 days to return it but don't know if that includes shipping time or not - being BC day i don't know if they are open so wont deal with it til tomorrow.
i'll try and check out the Opera mini browser and see how that works.
i just worry that this will turn into another purchase that i end up not using - well in this case not using as it is meant to be used since i would still be making calls from it. i have an unopened wii i bought with airmiles from zellers years ago that i keep meaning to set up, ps3 that all i do is play movies on it with even though i have purchased the controllers and rifle over 8 months ago(still in box) and so on and so on...
only reason i would buy a new phone if i return this is that my old one just has the phone number keys with 3 letters and so very hard to type texts which i would like to start doing. the 2 phones i mentioned have actual keyboards on-board so i will go and see if they are easy to use with my big thumbs.
least i got 6 months of prepaid taken off my credits just by talking about buying the phone so wont be losing anything even if i cant return the sim card.

I am not sure why you went with Android. For simplicity and effectiveness, an iPhone is definitely the cat's meow. If you want to do more and have less restricted applications, then Android is likely your best choice. I played around with a Windows 7 Lumina phone and I dont like a Windows phone. I have both Android and iOS. I still prefer iOS because it simply "just works" unlike with Android. Still, I will be getting the Note 2 because the iPhone screen's size is too small for me.

I agree with George. Get a BlackBerry and call it a day.
If you're on prepaid, forget about using the internet.
Everyone keeps saying that WiFi is available everywhere. It is available every where, but not accessible all the time. Most of the time it is not accessible.
Get a BlackBerry for the keyboard, you will be really happy.

have you introduced yourself to any applications?
not sure what web sites you are browsing, but have you explored accessing the same content through apps instead of the browser?
news, web forums, social sites all have applications optimized for small touchscreens which really makes the online experience better. my impression is that you are new to smartphones so i though id ask you this.
