Sagemcom Bell Router with DD-WRT

Hopefully someone here can help me, cause searching around Google has proven fruitless and DSLReports.com is down :(

Basically my scenario is this. I have a Sagemcom Router from Bell for VDSL Fibe 16. My router is a Linksys 310nv2.

I read somewhere all I need to do is factory reset the Sagemcom Router for bridge mode and then set my router's WAN to PPPOE with my username password. But for some reason it never connects. Am I forgetting something?

Currently I have a sort of working setup but I'd much rather do it properly if possible, but if it isn't I guess I'll stick with this.

Current setup is, I gave my router a static IP from the Sagemcom, and then DMZ'd it's IP. And then the router is DHCP's it.

Is your modem/router the Sagecom Fast 2864? Do you also have FibeTV?

Yes. And no FibeTV.

I'll try this method again in the morning. But, other than picking PPPoE as my WAN config, do I have to select anything else since it's VDSL?
