Couldn't find a very good review on CNET, however customers reviewed this tv quite well on Amazon.COM (though one idiot wrote a poor review because he felt misled when the picture quality wasn't as good in home as in the store because he wouldn't pay for an HDMI cable).

The only review that should count is yours. That is what return policies are for.

I would feel pretty safe getting a Sammy 40" LCD at this price. The only possible concern would be the response time (8ms) if you play games.

8ms served me fine on my 19inch lcd but this is a much larger surface area. Not sure if that is a issue or not. This will be used for my 360 but yes, that is what return policies are for

Please don't compare Sammy to Westy. Because Sammy is name brand Quality and Westy is no name- Take your chance it does come with a 3 year warranty.

Westy is a no name good brand though. From all the reviews I've read of the set it's almost ready to play with the big boys, it just doesn't spend millions on advertising. Also this is a 1080p set vs a 720p set, which may or may not make a difference depending on if I hook up my computer to it, which I probably wont, it's just a thought.
