2001AV: $1599.99
Sears: $1499.99

Thats all the retailers I've found so far. My thinking right now is to just wait till Best Buy has a sale, whenever that may be, and stock up on gift cards for an additional 10% off.

I've dealt with 2001A/V on many occasions. You can bargain there.

I'm sure you'll save three hundred or so. In fact, tell them to better the BB price by a hundred (at least) and include delivery.

Be VERY firm. Say you'll buy "TODAY" if you get your price.

Go a week before month-end. I say this because they usually don't know if they've met their monthly quota (or are close). Yup, around month end, they may not be as flexible.

Only drawback: return policy is not so hot... usually store credit only/exchange!

Give it a shot..

P.S. ask to deal with the manager directly!

Thanks, I might give that a try, I didn't know 2001 would haggle.

Though in the end, I think talking BB down to 1299.99, then paying with gift cards at another 10% off will still be cheaper, and BB's return policy is better.

Though now I wait for a sale, though I think I could talk them down since they had the tv on for 6% off last week, so I'm sure they'll match that with no problem.
