I picked up this TV end of August from Brick though they had a 1298 price....for some reason I didn't really like the sound...it was too low even after changing the audio settings. The colours were too flat as compared to LG and Sharp.

Just my 3 cents. :)

you can fix the colour issue easily if you search for a review by "Gordon" for the Samsung UN32EH5000 on Amazon

Built-in speakers in general on any TV nowadays is going to be sub-par.

Dedicated receiver and speakers is the way to go; hell, even a home-theatre-in-a-box would improve the experience tenfold.

Yeah I snagged this using ebates and a couple coupons. Works out to approx $875 before tax. It on the truck for delivery today and ebates is already in my account!

Just so you know, this is a fairly stripped down model, good picture when calibrated apparently. but it does not have an audio return channel. Meaning all sound comes from the small onoard speakers or if hooked to a PC or revicer the sound will come from there. Think of it as just a giant monitor, mine will be hooked to a HTPC
