Samsung & Best Buy: Product Code DOESN'T Match but SIG DOES?

I'm upgrading the Game Room, I saw it on sale at Best Buy 46" LN46D630 LCD but I'm having trouble with the Product Code.

Comparing Samsung.ca it's LN46D630M3FXZC but Best Buy it's LN46D630K1FXZA?

Looking to see if SIG Electronics sells it for less, they don't it actually cost $200 more but it matches Samsung.ca

What is up with Best Buy? Am I buying last years model?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not familiar with this specific TV, but it's probably a "special edition" made for BestBuy. You get those at the big stores a lot (e.g. lots of Costco items are not regular retail). BestBuy will try to sell it as special and superior, but in general these items aren't any better than regular - in fact in many cases they are "special" because they have been cut down in quality/specs somewhere in order to be cheaper. SIG isn't a big enough store to have its own modified products.

A quick google search of both models seems to indicate that both are or have been sold at multiple places.

For the letter on the end could it be:

C= Canada
A = America

?

Can't explain other differences but possible indication of differences between model requirements for the two countries..
