Samsung Blu-ray Disc Player (BD-P1500) for $189.99 at CanadaComputers PM Opportunity

I was at CanadaComptuers in Ottawa last night and saw that they had the Samsung Blu-ray Disc Player (BD-P1500) going for $189.99

Their online price shows $219.99 but I called them today and they did say it is selling for $189.99.

Both FutureShop and BestBuy are selling this Blu-Ray player for $299.99 so if you want to stick it to them and want to price match it, you should be able to get this player for $178.99 before taxes.

The cheapo brands may go that low, but not the brand names like Sony or Panny. They may go as low as $150, but not $99.

As for the PS3 price drop, we'll have to wait and see on that one.

This was just at the Square One location as they were trying to reduce stock. I guess no one was buying them at $179.99.

Futureshop and Best Buy Do Not Price match with Canada Computers, they do not recognize Canada Computers as an authorized dealer. (load of crap)

to be fair to BB/FS, I have been unable to find Canada Computers on Samsung's dealer locater.

That being said, last time I was buying something (can't remember what brand), they tried to pull that on me. The manager was so sure that he was willing to go to the manufacturer's website... and when he did, and saw Canada Computers there.... you should have seen the look on his face.

well if they do, they're not supposed to, one of the big points during sales training, do not price match with tigerdirect and canada computers

I've price matched them against Canada Computers on several occasions and that was before we had a location in Ottawa. So even easier now.
