S10 plus right around the corner then note 10 for new design and significantly more tech. Note 9 already outdated.

It's just better to wait for s10 plus or note 10. Samsung already said they will be a complete overhaul compared to previous gens. For people that must upgrade now I guess it's a ok deal. Just a heads up there are reports of camera problems right now.

Not really that good of a deal considering they're only running this 'flash sale' because of the iPhone XS release. If you're going to run a sale to entice people away from Apple, then you're going to need to discount more.

Why are you surprised? Samsung doesn't really give a hoot about its customers. Coming from a long term user since galaxy s2 days. Owned and/or used most of their phones. They definitely make great phones especially the note line but after being screwed over by then, I've learned my lesson.

my s7 edge is only worth $105 if I trade-in... I thought it should at least be greater than $200

It's $105 plus $200 if trading towards a Note 9. So $305 total.
