Will have to pre-order in store if you want the extended warranty.

Canadian offer: Pre-order The Galaxy Note8 between August 23 – September 14 and get a bonus Samsung Wireless Charger Convertible plus Samsung 128GB MicroSD Card following purchase.*

No 360 camera? Which is valued at $300 CAD. Because Samsung is offering the US a special promo for the choice of the camera ($220 USD) or the SD Card Kit + Wireless Charger ($190 USD) for August 24th only.

I am disappointed that the gold and orchid grey colors are not available in Canada. I ended up going with the blue one.

I've owned nothing but Samsung since touchscreen phones became a thing. But $1350 + tax for a phone? You can't be serious. I'm guessing the new iPhone will go for $1500 with this trend.

I just bought the new 2017 gear 360 camera off eBay brand new for under $100 usd so I think their MSRP prices are greatly inflated.

Anyone know the specs of the SD card and whether the wireless charger is fast charging?

Once the iPhone 8 and Pixel XL 2 come out, you will get the Note 8 cheaper for sure.

lol @ the price of this phone

the s8 plus even has a bigger battery life.

this phone isn't worth the price for a pen you might use once or twice, and all that preinstalled software that will come with it.

Depends on monthly bill.
Looks like the big 3 are asking for $95 as the minimum plan requirement.

How much is extended warranty? What does it cover?

By then the extra offer would be over.

Yeah, the cost of these flagship devices is getting unreal. I suppose some people might justify it by saying it's the device they use the most each day, and they have no need for a laptop/have one provided by their employer, so they put that $$ towards the phone. Same goes for a camera if the phone has a decent camera I would think.

Personally, not only can I not afford to spend that much on a phone, but I wouldn't want to because then I feel like I have to guard the thing with my life, super afraid about dropping it, etc. Whereas if I spend $200 or $300, if something happens to it I'm not as bugged and can think about upgrading often without thinking about how much money I've already sunk into my current device (don't change phones often, but just saying).
