If you are getting married soon, I don't think you'll have the money to throw around on new cell phones anymore(BTW, good luck on the proposal, hope it goes well)
But on the SGSIIHD, it looks like what the GN should have been.

Samsung Galaxy S II HD Canada bound?
Found this interesting topic, but personally, I will wait for the SGS III. I wonder how the battery life on this will be. However it definitely is 1 step ahead of the Galaxy Nexus in specs
http://mobilesyrup.com/2012/02/08/sa...ing-to-canada/
The GS II HD will come packed with a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720. In addition, it’ll be LTE-enabled so you can count on this going to one, or all, of the Big 3 carriers (Rogers, Bell, TELUS). Other notable specs have the GSII HD with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Wi-Fi, NFC, 9.27-mm thin and has an 8MP camera that shoots 1080p HD videos.

Any ideas on pricing? Wish this phone would come with the frequencies for Wind/Mobilicity.. And it isn't vanilla ICS.

Unless it launches with ICS, I'd recommend against it.
I mean the specs are really not that much better than a SGSII let alone a Galaxy Nexus.

Yeah I'd wait for SG3, that should be Samsung's new flagship going into 2012. With the notification at the top and the now onscreen buttons, you really don't get that whole 4.65" usable space though.
I'm ready to ditch my Nexus if the SG3 is just THAT good!
SG needs to cut down on all the SG2 variations that's on the market, wow, talk about confusing the hell out of consumers lol._______________

there's already few threads on this phone dating back to october when I was debating between this and the Galaxy Nexus
if it's going to to be an early Q2 release it's a ****** buy because:
1. phone was released last November in Korea...making this 5 month old when it's out
2. judging ICS..soft keys may be the future for android OS
3. very likely for the galaxy S III to come out shortly after its release...and we all know those specs will significantly be better than this one.
