Red & White Flag…
It looks like Spigen is offering cases with a built in tempered glass screen protector. I'd be curious to see how effective that is.
If it's not free, it's too expensive...

Yeah, the Reventon and Pro Guard cases. Though, they aren't available on Amazon Canada yet.

Supcase is offering similar cases (built-in glass protector).

Shocking I ended up pre-ordering the S9+ Lilac Purple. Like when Apple first introduced Rose Gold I went with it because it's new and different.

Seems like Freedom Mobile is the cheapest to get this fone. Went to one store in chinatown and the girl said for S9 is $70/mo, S9+ is $75/mo, no downpayment. I guess the 3 party oligopoly isnt matching this deal. It's just too bad the company sucks aka WIND. lol.

That just looks like the same tempered glass protector for the s8. I had one, didnt fit my ringke case. Returned it. I don't have high hopes for the s9 one being any better

An earlier version of this article incorrectly described a behavior of crows exposed to crow corpses. Live crows only touch, attack and attempt intercourse with crow corpses, they do not scavenge them. (Actual NYT correction)

Just an FYI, new launch FW was just released for Canadian models which provides camera stability updates (and likely other bug fixes). Still on Feb 1 security. 266MB, FW version ending in ARBG.

So when S9/S9+ releases, does anybody have any idea what the S8/S8+ would cost? Need a new phone but S9/S9+ is a bit out of budget.

I want to get the S9 but I can't seem to find a case that doesn't leave the curved surfaces of the screen exposed because I will drop it at some point.

Is there such a case that is not overly bulky or fugly?

I ordered the Supcase, & the iBlason Ares. Both are full 360 coverage with screen protectors built in the front of the case. This will tie me over until Spigen release their attempt.
I stand by spigen products, I've used them for my last few Samsungs, & they survived many drops with no ill effect.

If its built into the case, wouldn't that eliminate the trial & error of getting it to fit a case?

This is the reason I'm buying the cases with the "built in screen protectors".
In hopes that it will save me the trouble of mixing & matching.

I'll let you guys know how these fit, I get my cases, & device tomorrow.

Spigen Neo hybrid fits the bill IMO.
OBLIQ [SLIM META] was also 1 i considered but i wanted screen protection too.

I looked at both of these and they have a raised lip on the top and bottom but leave the left and right sides of the screen exposed.

Unbelievable that they only have two sales processing the launch preorder pick up.

I'm the seventh inline and it feels like I've been waiting for an hour. No sleep after 12 hour shift.
