Samsung Panel lottery - how do u tell which one you have?

Know about the panel lottery, and the code on the box (SQ, AA, etc) but how do you confirm which panel you have? Someone lead me to the service menu but I don't know how to find what I'm looking for. Anyone here know?

It's typically on the outside of the box...near the UPC code with the model number and such...it's four characters.....SQ01, CN01, seems to letter for the first two and numbers for the last two...all by themselves. You want to confirm if the panel on the outside of the box matches the unit itself?...maybe the one of the characters in the serial number for the firmware (2007 model anyways)...you would have to decode somehow. I personally think that if the serial number on the unit matches the number on the outside...the panel number on the outside would be correct.

Just saw this on another site. It is on the label on the back of the tv. The Version No. is your panel type. It is right about the serial number (S/N) and below the Model Code. It is also on the label on the outside of the shipping carton.

I mean from the service menu. According to the box and label on the TV, its SQ (ie: Samsung). I want to confirm it.
