Samsung S6 Edge - Network issues
Hi everyone - wondering if anyone has encountered anything similar to issue I'm having with my S6 Edge.
Periodically it just "drops" the Rogers network altogether (unable to talk or send/receive messages). Sometimes this happens mid-call. Happens sporadically throughout the day. Also, many times text messages are being sent/received several times... for example, I just got the same text this morning six times in a row over a span of five minutes.
Issues started about a week ago. Things I've tried so far:
- Switching networks (ie no LTE). Issue stays the same.
- Booting phone in safe mode. Issue pretty much stays the same... I think there's some improvement, but that just might be a mental thing.
Is it worth doing a software reset? The only thing I've done differently in the last month is to update to Android 6.0.1 (Rogers issued this in August, I believe). Otherwise no drops, no moisture, etc.
Any help? It's still under warranty (6-7 mths old), but I'd rather solve this myself if it's a software thing.
