Sauble Beach-Bruce Peninsula

I was looking for a best beaches and Sable came on top of the list-what's the best way to explore Sauble and Bruce peninsula ?we lived in mississauga and likes to know a day trip is possible ? we are willing to stay for a night or two if we got the good price motel or cottage(need advise) ? we are flexible in terms of days and month.
