Have you tried shipping a box full of Dog poop to his address? That usually helps.

I will never send money to anyone if there isn't a possibility that i can get it back, (ex. Wire Transfer). They usually just scream scammer. Always go with the safest method possible, and if they won't do it your way, move on. Better safe than sorry.
Life lesson learned, you're lucky you weren't paying for something worth a lot more. I personally don't know if you can get your money back, but usually scammers go with whatever makes it impossible to get your money back. You'll just have to move on._______________

Moneygram? Only scammers request moneygrams, western union, etc.
Who was the seller? Did you ask for feedback references? More info would help.

put a paper bag of poo on his front door. light the bag. ring the door bell. run and hide. watch the person answer the door, see the burning bag, stamp out the fire, and watching burning poo fly everywhere

Threaten to contact the local Edmonton police. It might be enough to scare him.

For all we know, you could of been the scammer and trying to find way for the victim to go against you, so that you can outsmart the smart.
I've got scammed when scammers started scamming, but I didnt care, Money is money, it comes and it goes. But people in this forum dont seem to think that.

learn from this and move on;
if you didn't pay a lot, let it go cause cause it's not worth the time and effort. just treat every1 as selfish human beings and u'll be fine.
