Scammed: HELP/ADVICE.
Recently did a trade (last night) for some Louis Vuitton Bindi Sunglasses.
The trade involved those shades for 3 of my pairs of shoes.
Seller assured the product was 100% legit and whatnot.
Once I received the product, I did research and asked someone who created a guide on how to tell fakes.
Found out the product was fake, and the person has stopped replying.
His name is: (Pulled)
Phone number: 289 236 5656
Address: (Pulled)
What steps can I take from here?
Also, he purchased those sunglasses from Aaron_18 (RFD member, facebook name: Aaron Liaw)
Is there something I can do to take him out of his B/S/T business as well? It's not his first time swinging fakes around passing it for authentic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

first you should post all of his personal info. then see if the seller has anything else for sale and tell a friend to set up an appointment with the guy to buy something else, then whammo!

Whammo? What? Rob him or confront him?
If I confront him, it doesn't guarantee I'm getting anything back...

yeah but if you beat him senseless it'll teach him not to scam anyone again
or like he said get a friend to meet up with him, then call the cops too bring the sunglasses, and tell them he scammed you? not sure if they can do anything, but do it liek at a timmies, get your friend to go inside while they are talking walk in with the cops :p

Since you have his address, show up with a friend and demand your stuff back.
Otherwise, you are pretty much screwed.

The justice system fails badly on these type of scammers. Since law enforcement in Canada doesn't view "scamming" as a top priority crime, they rather set up speed traps than to help victims who've been scammed. Its not uncommon for scammers to serve a palty few months in jail knowing that they'll be back to their usual ways.

With the name like this, you are bound to get scammed.
your shoes are gone and you are an owner of a fake sunglasses.. trust me no one will notice you are wearing fake.. or you can try to scam some poor soul from RFD just like Mr Washington did...

The best you can do is report him to the police. Especially when you have his contact information.

Sadly saying, but true. They may let you write down a report for the incident, but don't have hope that any investigation will take place.
It is probably an expensive lesson for OP, but deal like this needs to happen face to face. Do your research BEFORE you do the transaction, not after.
