Hey, can I have your full address including your unit number so I can file a small claims court case against you?
Sure you can!

Considering she isn't using a prepaid cell phone, you could try reverse searching her phone number... there's a fee though and I don't know how accurate the results are.

Her number is associated with Fido Solutions Inc.

That's the best detective work I got so far...

anyone here have experiences with small claim court?? please pm OP about it, I agree that he should fine a lawsuit with the scammer.
Any better pictures we can dig up about her?? Any change we can contact the school?
There has to be something we can do with a future lawyer knowingly committing crimes while pissing on the laws.

OP, why don't you impersonate as a potential buyer and schedule another meet for one of her items for sale. Then, watch where you are going to meet and say you are late and then suprise her. Take whatever and give her CG jacket back in exchange.
I doubt she'll be heading to law school. One can study law, but it is another to attend and make it to law school. From what I can tell, she's not telling the truth and her grammer reeks.
Otherwise, I think you out of luck.

Are you advising to rob her? Not a good idea. And I wouldn't underestimate someone's potential to get into law school based on their grammar written on the Internet.

No, no... Just confront her with her fake jacket and demand a refund or in exchange with the item you are meeting for. OP got scammed, and taking any kind of recourse is better than stuck with a fake CG jacket.
I would agree with your second statement if she would just use some periods.. Jeeze, is that too much to ask for from a 4th year "law" student?

DO what Jac says, if it was me I'd print out 100 copies and would get me and my buddies to post it all over campus.

I'm actually quite annoyed with you harassing me. First of all the jacket is not fake it was purchased from Holt Renfrew my uncle works there. It may be a older version which I may have not been aware of because I've never had one. You had a chance to take a good look and analyze the coat and you agreed to it and payed up. I have done nothing wrong from my end. But hey contacting authority? LOL be my guest you actually have no case. Any cop would tell you...you snooze, you loose. Seriously get over it. I'm a 4th year law student, heading to law school next year I'm quite knowledgeable. My older brother is a lawyer, please though contact police I actually can't wait to speak with them. Oh and I'm sitting here with my uncle who has located the receipt that its real. Ill be patiently waiting for you to send police over to my door!
I have already called the police and they said they can't do anything about it..
LOL, there's no such thing as a law student who isn't in law school. I know this cause I was going to take the same degree program she's in, "Law and Society" which is NOT a pre-requisite to law school. Anyone with a minimum of a bachelor degree can apply to law school upon passing the LSAT. If it was me, I'd take her to small claims court, even if you don't win you'll tarnish her reputation. Smug scammers like this wench aggravates me.

If her last name is correct, either her older brother is not a lawyer in Ontario, has a different last name than her or is not a lawyer since there is no one listed with the LSUC with the last name "Waberi".

Take her to small claims court. Call her bluff. It's easier than you think to file a small claims and you can request waiver of fees and/or make a motion for the defendant to pay all costs, fees, etc.
Full info here: http://www.attorneygeneral.jus.gov.o...courts/guides/
p.s. why go to a lawyer when you can represent yourself? the information is readily available on the web and often judges will hint at what needs to be done. (or give you a second chance if you forget a step)

You can only go so far with the internet. Some things still require some physical work or social interactions.
First thing comes to mind is, to actually visit the place of residence.
Find her name through the directory, usually pretty accurate.
They won't show unit number so what you do is you buzz it and say "Hi my name is Jack and I have a package to be delivered to *the girl*, what unit are you in and can you buzz me in? Sorry to inconvience you as this package requires a signature and unfortunately no unit was stated on the package." once you get the unit number just leave.
Now you know where and what unit they live in.
Now it's pretty easy to file a claim in small claims.
Or what you can do make a false meet up and follow where she ends up going afterwords.

OP if u need any help doing the leg work and trying to track her down or incriminate her in person. I would be down to help. What u should do is pretend to be a potential buyer for one of her other products she's selling on kijiji. Set up the meet and confront her in a non-aggressive way. Basically get her to think she's won and theres nothing you can do about it, which it sounds like she thrives on. Little does she know she's being voice recorded and video taped by your accomplice. Bring the fake jacket and get her to acknowledge that this IS in FACT the jacket she sold you, whether she admits it's a fake or not is okay. Use this evidence and file for small claims court. I don't see how you can lose.

Your lucky you have all these information about her... just need to intimate her into giving your money back. Or say you'll call the cops.

What
I'd do is put up posters of her all over the York U campus, and those two building you mentionned, stating her name and the fact that she sold you a fake coat.

Hmm.. Those two pictures don't match.. The one that's In the twitter link and the other that's posted here..
