If you can, try to 411 and see if you can find his parents. It might be worth a call to let them know what he's doing. I once had a guy scam me, and a polite call to him mom (who was a really nice lady) had him calling me right back and returning the $500 he stole from me.

OP, Obviously you're pissed. But if you can call his parents, tell them the situation nicely -- I'm sure they'll make him do the right thing. Tell them you don't want to file a claim with the cops, but you will since he is going around scamming people. I'm sure they won't want him ruining his future for $100..

If he does actually refund you, I wouldn't meet up with him. Get your refund, plus money for shipping and ship them back with a tracking on his dime. No way would I want to see this guy again if I was in your shoes.

If you just give up and sell these items, I don't blame you. I'm just glad you exposed this lamer.
