With RBC in BC, their offer is

2 YR FC @ 2.97%
3 YR FC @ 2.99%
4 YR FC @ 2.99 %
5 YR FC @ 3.09 %

Ask if they will match to TD @ 2.79% from other people posting.
mortgage at 350k. Will see what they come back with.

In the meantime, if you have a good rbc ref in BC/GVR with low rate, please pm. Thank you in advance

Thanks for this post!!

My mortgage was almost up so I spoke with a buddy of mine from CIBC (financial mortgage specialist) that was able to match the 2.74% for 4 years. He also said depending on your situation, he may be able to get a lower rate.

Let me know if anyone is interested and I can send you his PM details.

TD just posted there new 5 year rate online for 2.97
CIBC also posted there new 5 year rate online for 2.99

For RBC i locked in at 2.74 just before it went back up to 2.79.

Maybe July will be another round of mortgage specials

True North Mortgage/Think Financial is at 2.64% for 5 year fixed (not high ratio). To me there is no downside for going with a broker than a big bank.

Of course not! Banks represent one lender and their interests, whereas Mortgage brokers represent dozens
