Scrapping a car in Burnaby

Honda Prelude 98. Engine overheated and warped the head. Even with a cheapish replacement engine ($500) the cost of labor/parts/fluids ($3000-4000) makes it not worth it. It's a shame because the interior is pretty pristine and I replaced the rims and wheels in December.

My only options are if a buyer would take the whole thing off my hands or scrapping it. Any reputable scrap for cash companies? Noble Towing comes up first on Google.

Throw it on Kijiji or marketplace. If it's in good shape, someone will give you more then scrap for a 'lude in decent condition.

In the Vancouver area, Craigslist is King. Kijiji is a ghost town.

From the other thread it seems your car "may be worth" $14,000 on the used market. Might as well list it on kijiji, start at $10k, and say highest bidder takes it lol.

I mean back in the 90s Publisher's Clearinghouse and whatever would send you letters saying "you may have already won $1 million!" so this is about the same chances I'd say but other people say it's true so might as well see what you can get for it
