Screen Resolution Question
If I buy a 22 or 24" Widescreen monitor, will my ATI Radeon X1300 Pro AGP 256MB Video Card be able to run it a the proper native resolution? The specs state that the Maximum Resolution is 2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz (Analog).
I know it's not the latest or most advanced of videocards, but I really want to buy a new monitor. I thought I'd check here first just in case it won't support that high of a resolution decently.
Thanks.

the standard 24 inch lcd has a resolution of 1920 x 1200, so you should be fine.

Don't know what res 24WS uses, but 20WS is 1680x1050, and my X1600 does it fine.
Isn't it more of a driver issue on what resolutions are supported (assuming that the specific resolution fits within the maximum possible by the graphics card)?

And true, even if the supplied drivers don't work (though it should) there are hacked ones available.
