use the Print Screen | SysRq key on your Keyboard ... then start paint and Ctrl - V or Edit -> Paste ... and save it As JPEG if you want small file size ...

how do you take a pic of your screen??

PRINT SCREEN key for the whole screen
ALT+ PRINT SCREEN for the current selected window
then you must paste (CTRL + V) onto MSpaint or your favourite image editing program. I use Irfanview.
