Scythe S-Flex fans are here!

Woohoo! they are finally here... These new 120mm fans are supposed to be the latest technology combining Panaflo's fluid bearing tech with Sony's manufacturing quality and a few extra technologies thrown in.
I call Shens on 8.7dB, but I would be totally happy if it is a misprint and actually 18.7dB.
I'll be testing one or two in the next week or so. Its not a hot deal as I'm sure Ncix and others will be selling it cheaper very soon.

Yeah I saw them instore. $20 for a fan is a bit hefty, but let us know how they perform!

Is this S-FDB similar to the FDB used in the HDDs ??
Market Leading Low-Noise Level
S-FDB technology drastically eliminates the friction between the bearing and the shaft which makes this fan nearly inaudible to human ears. Additional suction magnet optimizes the magnetic force balance within the rotor to achieve the absolute silence. To further achieve the absolute silence, the fan is equipped with the Linear drive IC for reducing electromagnetic noise.

Just to update, I got the fan and its definitely quiet.

They rate it as the quietest fan so far at its rated 12V, but it also only moves a modest amount of air, about what a regular 80mm fan would.
