I only buy on days when they have 20x or my personal favourite 18500 pts for $75. It seems they have this almost every week now. I might get the T5 on for 449 so 249 with 95000 points this weekend.

I've never made a large purchase from Pharmaprix before and the way you broke it down, it sounds great but when I leave the store it would be $450 + tax and the remaining $50 gift card and $200 in points would have to be used towards another purchase, correct?

No way to apply the credit or points towards the actual purchase of the PS4?

They also have an unreal deal for the Xbox + Kinect at $149.99... I mean the kinect itself retails alone for 109.99 so for an extra 40 you get an xbox! Most Shoppers have lots of these too, some with Disneyland + month of gold membership + kinect adventures or Kinect Sports, kinect adventures and a month of gold, or just the regular with kinect adventures.

It's on the very last page (Page 12) In the middle beside the laptop deal.

Is this the best time to redeem your points or can you redeem on 20x the points day instead to get the promotion? Assuming the $170 is treated as a giftcard rather than a reduction in spending, 170 x 20x points is 34k points?

You only receive points on the amount after a redemption, so if you went on a 20x points day and spent $300 with a $170 redemption you would only get points on the remaining $130.

The best time to redeem is on the 20% off coupons, because they allow you to use the coupon to reduce the value by 20% then you can redeem off the reduced amount. (So PS4 would be 450 - $90 -$170 redemption for a price of $190 instead of tomorrow with $200 redemption and $50 gift card bringing the price of the PS4 to $200) The 20% off only works on non-sale items, so if the item is on sale you won't get any discount... These 20% off seem to be very rare though, much more rare then the 20x events.

As a bonus tip, if you know your going to spend a lot of money at shoppers you can buy their gift cards ahead of time for extra points.(And the Blank $$ amount gift cards are reloadable so you don't feel like a dick for creating all that garbage just to save a few bucks :P)

Seniors day is the last Thursday of each month. Seniors get 20% off on non-sale items

The saving of this points promo is $30 for the highest tier, and for ps4 you really are only getting $80 off. (actually getting gift card is slightly worse than $80 off your payment). So the deal for ps4 with this promo is worse than straight 20% off like the other poster said.
