Does anybody know if I can do this:

Go to SDM on Sat or Sun,
Buy a SDM gift card (say $30) as per the FAQ link somebody previously posted
Buy $20 worth of stuff to get the 10% off + 10 x points if you spend at least $50 promotion
Go on Monday and use the $30 gift card for this SDM referral promotion

Was this SDM referral promotion emailed to SDM point acct holder's email? Since the email I gave them when I opened the account is no longer used, perhaps thats why I didn't know about it.

Flyer only mentioned about the 10% off + 10 x points if you spend at least $50 on Saturday or Sunday (which is outside of this promotion which starts on Monday). This $50 deal was what I was going to go after.

Yes you can participate in both promotion. Weekend and weekday. No it doesn't work out like that. You can't spend $20 on weekend and $30 weekday. The weekend promotion $50 must be made in one transaction.

To previous long term members of my groups, it looks like I will only be able to run 2 groups this time due to the owner's of the other 2 cards I use for group leaders are likely not available.
