SDM - Invite your friends to the Online Tell A Friend Points Event

Once again I will be running a group. I will be sending PM's to previous members and confirming in this post. I will send the invites once I have successfully joined a group.

Here is current status:

Thank you for your reply! I have a shoppers optimum card, just confusing how does members in a group help each other.

the way Shoppers intends this to work, is you refer 10 people, they each shop, you get 5,000 pts for each of the ones that shop, for a total of 50,000 bonus points for you to sail off into the sunset with (providing each of the 10 did shop)

but the way it works here on RFD is we share the points - the leaders refer 10 people, each of the 10 shop, the leader receives his/her bonus 50,000 points, and divides them up and distributes them to the people in his group

the 50,000 pts are divided by 11 (10 in the group plus the leader) so each of them get 4545 pts, PLUS the 5,000 pts from shoppers just for shopping, for a total of 9545 pts for spending $20

so the group leader needs your optimum number in order to transfer the points to you when he gets HIS points - and you need to be able to access your optimum account online so you can register with shoppers for the event

and it's important you don't sign up for the event yourself - you need to sign up using the referral link your leader will send to you

and it's a nice gesture to tell your leader to keep a certain amount of points for himself out of your 4545, as a thankyou for doing all this - so before the pts are distributed, you could email your leader and ask him to keep x amount of pts, and distribute to you the remaining of the 4545 pts

Are you ready? You have to shop on Jan 11-13 spending over $20. You will receive 5000 points from SDM + any direct referral you made + bonus points


Please follow the following process:
1) If you shop, please keep your receipt
2) Scan the receipt and make sure you spend $20 or more before tax.
3) Send the scanned receipt email along with your email address and your RFD name
4) Only the one who scanned the receipt will receive the share of bonus points.

If there are only 3 of us (RFD members) shop, including me. We will each get (5000 * n) / (n+1)
e.g. (5000 * 2) / 3 = 3333 points.

If 10 people including me, then (5000 * 10) / 11 = 4545 points.

The more this group will shop and obtain this status, the more points we will get.

Please make sure you are willing and available to shop at Shoppers for over $20 or more on Jan 11-13. We only want serious and committed shoppers. Happy Shopping!
