SDM - Invite your friends to the Online Tell A Friend Points Event

Alrighty,

This is my VERY first time creating a group, but if any newcomers that are still interested in joining a group but still cannot find one. Try PMing me.

Abiding to the general rules mentioned on this thread, just make sure you have NOT joined up or signed up to this event in order to maximize the points we each are able to earn (Max. of 4545 points/person, provided that everyone shops).

And make sure you will be able to spend at least $20 (before taxes) on January 11-13, 2010.

Apart from that, just PM me the following:

They did offer to post the points to my account if I brought in my card and receipt afterwards. Of note though, I don't think the retroactively posted points contributed to my Optimum Plus status.

anyone know if you can earn optimum points just by giving the number (instead of scanning the card?) I know you can with Airmiles, but wondering if they need the physical card for SHoppers?

Now that we are ready to shop - some IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You MUST shop on Jan 11-13 for at least $20 in ELIGIBLE goods.
- You MUST use the Optimum card that you have registered thru MY link. Please remember which one to use when you go shopping.
- KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!! I HOPE it will not get to this, but in case we do not get the full points, it means someone has not done their part. I will then have to ask everyone to send me a scan of their receipt as proof before I can distribute points out. Otherwise, there is no way for me to know who shopped and who didn't.
- I'll leave it up to you if you want to be proactive and just send a scan of your receipt to me anyway.
- IF YOU DID NOT SHOP CORRECTLY - ie. with the right card, or met the minimum purchase amount, etc. then YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING ANY POINTS.

Any change in rules as to how points will be distributed in the event of problems will be done thru group consensus. I think majority vote rules is fair in this case.
