[SDM] Nintendo 3DS XL - $129 in Flyer

Just looking through the flyer and noticed the price. Should be an easy price match with an extra $7 off at FS/BB.

There is a new model coming out next year, but $129 is hard to beat.

Edit: Seems to be a legitimate sale and not an error. PM at FS/BB for $122.99 or 20x optimum points Saturday (25800 pts works out to be roughly $30)

SDM Points Breakdown
8,000 $ 10
22,000 $ 30
38,000 $ 60
50,000 $ 85
95,000 $ 170

Edit #2: No more 20x points. Best bet is to Price Match at Target with 10% coupon or at FS / BB.

Edit #3:

There's a $20 off coupon for Friday if you don't care about points and can find stock. There was a red and a blue XL at the Shoppers by me in Calgary so they are still out there.

hope the link to the PDF works.

129 is a good deal, what do you guys think?
I dont collect optimum points, therefore price match might be best options. Any chance this might get lower at Black Friday? Any past experience?
I haven't seen it this low before... there have been some bundles with a game for $169, but $149 is the lowest non-YMMV price I've ever seen.

Aren't they going to have new 3DS pretty soon?

Yes. Likely early next year. Out now in Japan. And Australia. If you have never had a 3DS then there's lots to play still. They will also continue to support the current models aside from a small number of games that will only work on the new one.

Bundles are most likely the same price, though I haven't see any in a long time.

In my case this handheld would be xmas gift for my GF. She doesn't play the intense games anyway. more fun and mini games.
I also have a Wii U - maybe this can be combined somehow as well

I would sign up for the Optimum card instead if I were you. If it is 20X the points day tomorrow you will receive almost $40 worth of points (26000 points). Definitely better than the $7 you save from a price match.

You can use the 3DS as a controller for Smash Bros WiiU if you plan on getting that. Great alternative control method!

Don't forget that there is an opportunity to PM with BB and FS. Should work out to $122.99 + tax.

For a better deal, PM at Target and use 10% off coupon tomorrow. Should come out to $116.99 + tax.

That is, if you don't collect Shoppers points.

Anyone know what time you can start getting the 20x points deal and buying electronics at 24hr shoppers? I know some stores block off their electronics section later at night.
