Do you need an iPod nano now? If not, you could wait to see if they'll have another promotion in the coming months, like they had about 3 weeks ago.

The deal went like this:

nano : 249.99
gst : 17.50
Pst : 20.00
Total: 287.49

optimum points : $75 off
Total : $212.49 after tax

Points earned would be rougly: 249-75=174, which will be the base for Optimum points; (174 x 10 x 20) = 34,800 so you would get 99.4% of your points back.

In the end, you pay $212.49, and still have 34,800 points.
