I didn't see any appliance in this flyer. There are some models which are not that great.

Hmm, why is everyone going crazy for the $99 down Alpinetek bombers. Glad I waited, need a coat.

Damn, wanted some leather gloves, couldn't find any locally so bought semi-leather from The Bay @ 40% off but Sears has a much better selection.

Their $399 delivery fee pretty much kills their laundry deals.

Are you serious? $399 just for delivery?!!!!
If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

lol, where are you located?

edit: i tried adding a pickup location and it switched to free for shipping, but it wouldn't give me a pickup date. When you initially click add to cart, there are no shipping details so it seems to just be defaulting to $399. if you're actually interested in getting it, try adjusting the shipping address/pickup location and see what happens.

I tried that too, but then it won't let you switch back to Home Delivery as the shipment method. It stays at $0.00, which I'm sure they won't honour.

Ok I found the flyer you were referring to.

The $750 and $900 top load washers have agitators. Agitators on HE models are not that great. There have been complaints that it is not cleaning well compared to non-HE.

The dryer in the $900 is fine. You will find the heat level selection very useful in preventing certain clothes from getting ruined. But I notice bruises on the drum because of metallic buttons/zippers banging. We have a similar model for 3 years now.

I suggest to go to the store and see what the appliance sales person can do. They are 100% commission based.

I called customer service and they confirmed that it's not a mistake and the delivery fee is indeed $395.95. Deal killer.

This may be comparable to the $900 Sears.

Home Depot delivery charge is $50.

GE washer link for $498
. More functions
GE dryer link for $398
. This dryer has Stainless Steel Aluminized Alloy Steel drum

Please don't buy anything online from Sears. If you have an issue with the item, good luck trying to get an exchange without them asking you to return to the store and then charging to ship the correct item again. You will also need to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a refund on anything returning, even if it is back to the store.

Sears online is a joke!!
