Just saw this on their website. The 27" is cheaper than the 24". Same price as boxing week I believe.

Specs say it has 2 reverse speed.

But asking for heated handles and lights on a 27" snowblower, you have very high expectations.

Last year their was deal for 26" that had heated handles and light similar to this one with price $599

Any more info on this? Seems like a good deal. I was going to bite the bullet on the Costco Poulan Pro for $799 (merely for their warranty), but this seems like a great deal. I don't need a light or heated handles.

It looks like this is NOT a price error. I checked google's cached page archive, this just seems like an entry-level unit at an entry-level price. Carry on.

That is not the same as the 24" that was on sale over Christmas - this one has a smaller Stormforce engine - the 24" had the 250cc Briggs engine. The other one also had power steering and was better built from what I can see - this one looks like the general MTD/Poulan ones, the other was built by Briggs (Snapper, etc.)
