Seller Paid for Fake Amazon Reviews and Got Sued Successfully for Fraud by US Gov

So it looks like this is the first case of its kind where an Amazon seller that paid for fake reviews got sued successfully for fraud by the US government. It was for fake reviews for their weight loss herb that doesn't work and has medical side effects.

One down, one million to go.
Don't you mean 1 billion?
Friendly reminder: South Street is the second coming of Licks, and Works Burger is a bad ripoff of Red Robin put out by those purveyors of garbage, MTY Shit Restaurants Group.

It's fascinating what sellers are doing nowadays to gain reviews.

My new favorite is shipping a random trinket to a random person.
That "random trinket" was actually a product on Amazon bought and paid for by a shill.
Since it was a verified purchase with a tracking number, it counts as a purchase.
The person receiving it is thoroughly confused and the seller gains a verified buy.
