I was wondering if this is possible or if there's a program that i can download for a function like this.
I hate having to physically print something then use the fax machine to send it out. If possible this would save me time and paper.

> this is my work laptop,
Just look at the jacks on your notebook to see if there is one for a phone cord. I think it's still pretty common for them to have a built-in modem, in which case, all you need is some fax software. Just do a search for: free fax software.

You shouldn't need to download anything. Fax should be one of your printer options if you are using XP or Vista. Print to the Fax and the fax wizard should come up. Lets you set a title page, and asks what number you want to send it to.
That's assuming the modem drivers are installed, but since the computer isn't complaining to you about anything, I assume they are._______________
