Sex and the City - Poor Quality DVD Cases

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post it and I've done a full-on RFD search but couldn't find an answer.

Is anyone else finding the SATC plastic dvd covers be horribly, poor quality? 3 of my 6 box sets have fallen apart and are now in three or four pieces! For the price that they sell these box sets, I am not impressed. Any suggestions as to who to contact about these to try to get replacement dvd covers? Or, worst case scenario, even purchase new covers. I am very gentle with my dvd's and for these to fall apart so easy - sheesh. I am so mad.

Ps. I've tried calling the HBO store and they told me to call the manufacturers of the box. Maybe they weren't the right people to complain to, but I can't figure out where to direct my complaint!

trade em in and pruchase the sex and the city complete series collection. it comes in a giant binder.

Although I have noticed at about every rental store I've gone to the regular sex and the city seasons are all banged up and they just sit on the shelf.

Hrm, I don't know who HBO is using, can you post a picture of the case maybe?

I'd love to have the nice, new pink binder, too, but I like having all 7 box sets as well. The dvd cases I'm talking about look like this:



As you can see, the box has three fold outs pieces, and mine have all broken into separate pieces.

I broke one of my ex-girlfriend's SATC case, I forgot how, to me it just fell apart, but she didn't think so.

Those cases are very fragile, but it's not about the cases, but the DVD's
